The broccolitree

In some countries like mine, we have a New Year’s tree instead of a Christmas tree. That’s why I decided to make this puff pastry tree with broccoli and other vegetables. It’s really tasty and fun to make! And you can make it any shape you want. That’s why cooking is fun.

Here is what you will need for one tree:

puff pastry, cherry tomatoes, red pepper, broccoli, carrot, mozzarella cheese, and any other vegetables you love!

Thaw the puff pastry if it is frozen. Put a little flour on the table where you are working and roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin.

Then bake it 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 Celcius).

Remove the pastry from the oven and sprinkle it with grated mozzarella cheese. Decorate it with vegetables so it looks like a real New Year’s tree. Put it back in the oven until the cheese melts.
