Playing with all things

Nemaji is truly a gentle soul, and deeply committed to teaching children to be all they can be. He works with Akshara in its primary school. Nemaji's native languages are Hindi and Marathi. He takes English lessons with The School Inside. We asked Nemaji to tell InterestEng. what meant the most to him about childhood. Thank you, Nemaji, for this tender story!

CHILDHOOD is a beautiful time in life because childhood is free from cares. There are no duties and responsibilities on the shoulders of a child. The child eats, drinks, sleeps—and plays! Children have no tenseness, no pressure, no work. They only play. They play with all the things their hands can touch! Childhood is the favorite stage of life. —Nemaji
